Correction to today's edition

Dear All

In the piece about the ending of the Talking Politics podcast I inadvertently renamed Helen Thompson as ‘Helen Runciman’. This kind of error is a by-product of poor proofreading done under time pressure (I write the blog at the end of days which can sometimes be quite busy — as yesterday was). But that’s an explanation, not an excuse.

Am now eating humble pie, an essential part of every blogger’s diet.
